- Score data — the rounds you log (course, date, scores, ratings).
- IP address and approximate location — we collect your IP address and a country/city-level location at registration, used for security auditing and compliance records.
- Usage data — anonymous page-view counts to understand which tools are popular. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.
Why We Collect IP and Location
We record the IP address and approximate geographic location (country/city level) of each account at registration. This helps us prevent abuse, detect fraudulent signups, and comply with record-keeping requirements. Location is only captured at city/country granularity — we do not store precise coordinates.
How Long We Keep It
- IP and location records are retained for a maximum of 24 months, after which they are automatically removed.
- Account and score data are kept for as long as your account is active.
How We Use Your Data
- To operate the service and calculate your handicap.
- To send transactional emails (verification codes, service notices).
- To process payments through our payment partner CREEM (Merchant of Record), which handles card data on our behalf.
- To keep the service safe and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising profiles.
Your Rights
- Export your data — your dashboard provides a one-click JSON export of your account and score data.
- Delete your account — your dashboard includes a delete button that permanently removes your account and all associated data.
- Access and correction — contact us and we will help you review or correct your personal data.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie required to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
